Mastering the Documentation and Discipline required to be an ISO 9001 Certified facility helped Stantek move into the Aerospace, Military and other Industrial markets that may require not only ISO 9001 Certification, but the AS 9100 Certification, which Stantek has maintained since 2004. The Internal Organization for Standardization is the governing body for all ISO Standards, including the ISO 9001 2008 certification which the current Stantek facility has been in compliance with since 1995.

The ISO 9001 standard is a quality benchmark for leading manufacturers all over the world.

Stantek is registered with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and is an ITAR Compliant contractor for the US Government.

Such compliancy allows Stantek to be involved with the Manufacture, sale and distributionn of goods or services covered under the United States Munitions List (USML).

SAE International governs the standards within the Aerospace and other industries worldwide. The AS 9100 standard is a comprehensive certification that can be achieved only after an organization has become ISO 9001 certified.

An organization must demonstrate commitment to traceability through-out the supply chain, including both the tools and products associated with manufacturing. This, in addition to other important attributes which are key differentiators that allows Stantek to successfully support their partners.
