Stantek has a long heritage as a leading contract manufacturer located just outside of Lexington, KY. The Company was founded in 2003. However, the current Stantek team has nearly been continuously operating out of the same location for the past 20 years.

2003

Sanmina-SCI

The current Stantek site was previously a Sanmina-SCI (NASDAQ:SANM) contract manufacturing. The site operated until 2003, at which time the last of the production activities were moved to Mexico

2015

ISO 9001

The Stantek team's adherence to strict manufacturing standards allowed them to achieve ISO 9001 certification which is critical to compete for Aerospace, Military, and other Industrial contracts.

2017

Monticello team

In 2017, The Stantek and Monticello team joined forces to more fully support our partners' needs in the rapid turnaround of replacement parts for our largest customers’ parts distribution centers.

2025

Stantek Contract Manufacturing Begins a New Chapter

Acquired in July 2025, Stantek will maintain full operations in Kentucky and continue as a privately held company, ensuring continuity for customers, employees and partners. Under new ownership, Stantek is retooling its operations with targeted investments in lean manufacturing and product portfolio enhancements designed to better meet the evolving needs of its clients.
